Learning paths

Three Paths. One Direction.

Each path builds on the last. You cannot skip ahead — the assessments make sure of it.

4–6 weeks

Foundations

Path 01 · 24 lessons · No experience required

Market mechanics, order types, sessions and the vocabulary of risk. Every lesson ends with a short exercise so knowledge is applied, not just read.

Unlocks Simulator access

6–8 weeks

Practitioner

Path 02 · 32 lessons · Requires Foundations pass

Position sizing, drawdown arithmetic, strategy construction and journaling discipline. Includes supervised simulator sessions with graded review.

Unlocks Arena entry

8–12 weeks

Professional

Path 03 · 28 lessons · Requires Practitioner pass

Curriculum

Six Core Tracks.

The same six tracks run through every path, going deeper each time.

Market Foundations

Instruments, sessions, liquidity and order types explained without hype. Covers FX pairs, indices, commodities and digital assets, with worked examples of spread, slippage and rollover.

Risk & Position Sizing

Exposure limits, drawdown control and the arithmetic of loss recovery. You learn why a 50% loss needs a 100% gain, how per-trade risk compounds, and how professional desks cap daily damage.

Strategy Construction

Build a rules-based approach with defined entries, exits and invalidation. Every strategy you write must state its assumptions, its failure conditions and the sample size needed to evaluate it.

Execution Discipline

Journaling, review cycles and behavioural error tracking. Lessons cover revenge trading, overtrading after losses, and how to run a weekly self-review the way a desk manager would.

Data & Analytics

Read performance statistics correctly, including sample-size limits. Expectancy, profit factor, Sharpe-style ratios and consistency scores — and when none of them mean anything yet.

Assessments

Graded checkpoints that unlock the next stage of the ecosystem. Timed, versioned and recorded on your Passport with a date and score — evidence, not a participation badge.

How it works

From Lesson to Unlock.

Progress is gated by demonstrated knowledge, not time spent.

  1. 01

    Enroll

Create an account and take a short placement quiz. It recommends a starting path based on what you already know — you can override it.

  2. 02

    Study

Work through short lessons with worked examples and exercises. Most lessons take 10–15 minutes; exercises are checked automatically.

  3. 03

    Assess

Book a timed assessment when you feel ready. Results are graded, dated and written to your Passport immediately.

  4. 04

    Unlock

Passing scores open Simulator and Arena access, and count toward Funded evaluation eligibility.

Assessments

Graded Like It Matters.

Timed & Closed-Book

Most assessments run 20–40 minutes. You cannot pause the timer, and questions are drawn from a rotating bank so retakes are never identical.

Graded Against a Rubric

Pass marks are published before you start — typically 80%. Borderline answers are reviewed against a written rubric, not judgement calls.

Recorded With Evidence

Every result is written to your Passport with the assessment version, date and score. Counterparties see the record, not a claim.

Retakes With Cooldown

A failed assessment can be retaken after a 72-hour study cooldown. There is no limit on attempts, but every attempt is recorded.

Questions

Frequently Asked.

Do I need trading experience to start?

No. The Foundations path assumes none. The placement quiz will tell you honestly if you should start there anyway — most people should.

Does completing the Academy guarantee funding?

No. Academy completion makes you eligible for evaluation; it is not a promise of capital, profit or approval. Anyone who guarantees funding in exchange for a course fee is not describing how this works.

How long does the full Academy take?

Most learners complete all three paths in four to seven months studying a few hours per week. There are no deadlines — the record only shows when you passed.

Is the Academy financial advice?

No. It is general education about markets, risk and process. Nothing in the curriculum is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any instrument.

Academy is educational. It does not provide personalised investment advice, and completing a course does not guarantee trading profitability, evaluation success or funding approval. Trading involves substantial risk of loss.
